Look at these babies 11 years ago today.

Pete popped the question and I’ve NEVER been one to be speechless but I was when I saw him down on one knee (even though I had been WAITING for him to ask).

When the time came all I could do was keep repeating his name, and shaking😂🤭 eventually he said “is that a yes?” followed by “don’t drop the ring in the water” because of my shaking.

Yes my love, it’s a yes - a whole body YES 🫶🏻

Cheers to the hard work that is a relationship, no matter how much of a whole body yes it is - a relationship requires work.

Cheers to communication, to calling each other Love (one subtle reminder that yes, that is what you are to me), to the tiny, simple joys of everyday life we have come to cherish together

… And cheers to us, saying yes to ourselves first (then & now) so that we may bring our whole selves to our relationship. We’ve gone through different seasons where we’ve been better/worse with this but I’m grateful for the AWARENESS we share and how we champion each other to take care of ourselves- so we can show up for big questions, and say yes to life. ☀️

What are you doing that strengthens your conscious

What are you doing that strengthens your consciousness? Your connection to yourself and the world around you?

It’s not like I went into life thinking “Gee I love to be cold I think I’ll seek that out”. Nope.

But what I am doing is seeking out things that bring me back, within, help regulate my nervous system so that I can be more at ease and see the world around me.

Cold plunging does this for me.
Journaling does this for me.
A jog or a workout that is totally in sync and I’m listening to my body does this for me.
Meditation does this for me.
Really good books and mentors do this for me.

I’m a mom of twin girls and one boy (they are often scurrying around the plunge when I’m in there and yet, it still has the power to bring me back. In 3 minutes. It’s potent friends.

I get it. Maybe you’re sick of seeing cold plunge stories and posts - and that’s ok. Maybe it’s not for you. But what IS going to be that thing for you? What does this for you? What are you doing or could you be doing to increase consciousness and connection to yourself?

You are more than the health and milestones of your children

you are more than a number
you are more than your productivity
you are more than what you eat
you are more than what you think
you are more than your anxiety
you are more than how you look
you are more than your stress

you are more, oh so much more.

I know it can seem impossible at times to imagine feeling like your whole, dynamic self (and not just fragments) - but it is possible and I aim to help you see that.

I can’t coach any other way than to recognize your whole self.

My approach is “different” a “365 experience” so I’ve been told, and I couldn’t be more pleased with that feedback (and that was coming from a new client literally just 2 days in of working with me).

The thing she’s beginning to realize ...change, sustainable change, takes an all of you approach.

A well runs dry when parts of it are neglected, but it does not have to be this way.

My 4-year old son taught me something the other day

Action, no matter the size, speaks louder than words.

Love-fueled action sticks better than hate-fueled action.

Love just feels better.

Actions to love ourselves, no matter the size of that action, speak louder than words.

Moving forward with awareness is one little (actually it's really BIG) way we can love ourselves more.

Grateful for life's reminders, and my little crew and how they teach me so much and hold a mirror up daily with opportunities to step into more awareness, more patience, more love, and more calmness.
